B. Agriculture Degree Programme
The requirement for the B. Agriculture Degree Programme is the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) WAEC/NECO, GCE 0' Level or its equivatent. Candidates must satisfy the minimum University entry requirements which include five O'Level credits in relevant subjects (English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agricultural Science and Physics) obtained at not more than two sittings.
University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Entry Mode
To gain admission into 100 Level of the Five-year B.Agriculture Programme, candidates require an acceptable performance in the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the relevant subjects which include English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Candidates who successfully complete the Remedial programme of Bayero University, Kano may be absorbed into the 100 Level if they obtain acceptable grades in Chemistry, Biology and Physics having satisfied the minimum credit requirements of 5 O'Level relevant credits and the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination requirements.
Direct Entry Mode
To be eligible for direct entry into 200 Level, the candidate must have met the matriculation requirements in the relevant subjects plus IJMB/HSC/GCE 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and Biology, ND or HND in relevant subjects at credit level.
B. Sc Agricultural Extension Degree Programme
- Higher National Diploma[HND] in any field of Agriculture such as Agronomy/Crop Production, TeChnology/Horticulture, Agric Economics, Agric Extension, Animal Production/Animal Health, Fisheries, Forestry and General Agriculture, with a minimum of Lower Credit.
- In addition to compulsory credits in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry, candidates should possess at least two  O'Level credit passes in any of the following subjects: Biology/Agric Science, Physics, Geography and Economics.
- In addition a potential candidate should have a minimum of four years post-HND field experience in extension work or related field.
- Candidates should be recommended by their employers.
